Well, I Guess I Might Get A PC

Well since i can get one pretty cheap from an online supplier i think i might get one.

I will get it with the kit which includes the 7424PC, backing plate and 3 pads.

Which do you suggest i pick.... Their lake country pads and they have a selection of orange cutting, white polishing and black finishing. Should i get one of each?

Plus what does each pad do and what products do i use for each?

I would suggest 1 orange, 2 white, one black, and maybe a blue finesse pad for applying LSPs. I end up using the white most often on softer paints. Eventually you'll find your rythm and what to use when and why (and whether or not you need to get yellow and/ or wool pads) but for now some of your questions can be answered with this wonderful product and pad chart. The pads and their uses is on the bottom and many of the more popular 'been around for a while' products are in the chart.

Can black be used to apply LSP's?? I take it black is also good for glaze's?

And for orange would that be like a light cut pad? Using something like ssr2 and white would be for polishing and light polishing, using something like deep crystal paint cleaner and ssr1?

It also comes with a 5" backing plate and 6.5" pads.... am i limited to 6.5" pads or can i larger or smaller?

I am just scared to use this thing since it would be my first time ever
