No they are not. Zymol makes a "cream" and "carbon" paste wax for light or dark colored cars.

Hey mystickid,



Definitely not. As an example, Pinnacle Paste Glaz was geared toward light-colored cars. HOWEVER, I recommend taking "geared toward this color" with a grain of salt. Pinnacle Souveran (paste version) is supposed to make dark-colored cars look deeper, warmer...but if a user loves the look of Souveran on a white car, that's all that matters. If you like the look, stick with it.

They are not all for dark cars. Pinnacle Signature is supposedly made for lighter color cars whereas Pinnacle Souveran is made for dark colors, but it all depends on if you like the look or not. Every wax is different, even when made by the same company. Meguiar's #26 paste will give you a deep look on reds and blacks. #16 will give you a wet look, but they don't tell you which was is good for what. It really depends on you taste. You're just gonna have to check it for yourself and find out what you like.:)

As Greg and I have found Souveran works better on silver than Signature or Paste Glaz. It has a nice wet look that I don't get as much of with Signature.



Natty's also works well as Jason suggested.
 
I've not used Souveran yet, but the pics of the paste are impressive. I've used Natty's and I really like it...especially the price. I've used Natty's on black as well and been happy with it. I'll be purchasing some in the near future, and I'm not even considering the liquid (3 out of 4 of the family cars are black).



I've also got a tube amp (Marshall JCM 800). :D
