Weber Grill using Chrome Polish

Bummer. Lucky for me, my cover has yet to blow off. I guess the kettle's round shape is easier for Velcro to hold in place?

As a fellow Weber charcoal grill owner, whats involved in detailing your grill?

I use an APC to get the film off the outside of the cover / lid and then use whatever LSP I have handy. I usually add wood chips for smoke and it leaves a film on the cover around the vent holes. The side table gets dirty from the utensils, so that gets wiped down also.

I don't go nuts, just kill some time while I'm waiting for the charcoal to get to temp.

However, I do plan to use the buffer and 4" pads on it someday........

Mine is outside, but under a covered part of my porch.

Over the weekend I used OPC 3:1 to clean my grills black vinyl cover. Came out pretty well minus a few spots. Next I'll give my side table a good cleaning.

Do you use a charcoal chimney for getting your coals going? I'll never go back to lighter fluid after using one.

I have a chimney, but have been using my trigger style propane torch if I'm in a hurry to help things along.
