Volvo S40 2006

Here is my car, it's a Volvo S40 2006, only 5 months old, and because of the warm winter, I decided to do a mid-winter detail. This is actually my first full exterior detail with any machine.

Here's the process:

-NXT wash with foam gun, Meqs MF Mitt and two bucket method

-Zaino clay

-Z-PC with W-8006 and W-9006 (Bosch PEX400-AE Random Orbital)

-Z5 Pro x1 (I was such a hurry, I'll do another layer)

-Z8

-Meqs Endurance Tire Gel

-AG Glass Polish on windows

I was also lucky today, because it has been dark and rainy here in past 3 months, but today, just before I finished, the sun decided to show off first time in two months. Fortunately I had my camera with me.

Here's the pictures...

Looks good! :goodjob

My folks just bought an S40 just before I moved away. Its a nice little ride, and gives you a lot compared to other cars in the same price range. Turned me into a Volvo fan.

i like it man, you part of VS or TB? post these there also........oh and lower it :cough:

Thank you all. Yes I should lower it a bit and put some nice 18 or 19 inch wheels. It looks like a tractor now. Oh and btw. VS and TB <--- What are those?

Love those outside shots! Volvo has incredible paint. I can imagine what it looks like in person.

Well it looked absolutely amazing. I mean I was like WOW, because this was a kind of practise detail to me as a first timer with machine, and my eyes nearly dropped when I saw it in the sun. I have always maintained my cars very well by hand, but they have never looked that good.

I also really like the Z-PC and Z5 Pro. Gives you a nice, wet finish, but when the spring comes, I really want to try some Souveran :)

Hi, polisher is Bosch PEX 400 AE, it's dual-action/random orbital. You can find information about it from here

Another polisher what I use, is my rotary, but i'm still practising my skills with it. Rupes LH 18E, information here.
