Turkey day show offs

OK how many of you had your cars all cleaned up for turkeyday visitors. My whip (car) was the cleanest one there. It also helps when you have a date the next day to
 
Ok i admit i did wash and clean my car today. Knowing some of my family would have to go out to the garage and take a look.
 
QD and put a layer of SG on my mom's car.

Good thing: Its FINALLY snowing!!! :bounce



Bad thing: They're driving to wendover, so that means i'll have to wash it again. :mad:
 
i must be a fake autopian....i did actually look at my car....some dust so i know tomorrow is wash day after work....but i couldnt go near it...when i start with the little things then before i know it ...its 2 hrs later and im fifnishin with another coat of Z2(after just starting with the duster....for a minute:) )...i didnt want to fall into the trap today....my mom kept saying...and dont even think about going out to tha car with all these people in here....:D but bless u guys for keeping the Autopian neurosis going.....:p
 
I would have detailed the car but someone backed into it early Wednesday morning. I was at the gym and someone asked me if I owned a silver Audi S4, at this point I expected to hear that I left my lights on. I could tell by her face that something else was wrong, she had backed into my car and damaged both driver's side doors. Definitely not the way to start a day. I always park in an end spot, this day being no different, I wasn't even near another car. At least she didn't hit-and-run. There wasn't even any damage to her rear bumper and it would have been easy for her to drive away.



Estimate is just shy of $1,000 and her dad said he would write a check. Anyhow I just couldn't get myself to detail the car because of the damage, it hurts just to look at it.
 
I QD it yesterday and plan on putting another coat of z2 on it today. All the Triptophane in the turkey yesterday had me too sleepy to wash it. :D
 
When you love your car and something happens to it you just do'nt feel complete.Just another thing to be thankful for on this day(body shops) hope every thing turns out well.As for me it was foggy and misting all day so my clean car stayed inside and we too the wife's car.I had planned to get up wash and QD hers but the weather did not allow this.We were going to take my car today but her's was alredy dirty no need to have two dirty.Hope everyone had a great day and we should all be very thankful for what we have including our cars and this forum:)
 
that bites...but at least she was honest like has been said...mostly u would have come out and just been sick when u saw it...that took guts because im sure she saw how well it was taken care of....i as posted didnt do a darn thing....toda after work ill get a nice wash going on...hope all was well..
