Rich Suds Car Wash From Meguires

No, they are not the same, they are infact different chemical formulations which work in different ways. :wavey

each soap actually has a different pH level, with the lower quality soaps being more acidic and gold class being very close to neutral pH (7.0)



as for spelling meguiar's correctly, its just a pet peeve of mine and several others on the board. Oh, and as for the caps I'm not an english teacher only someone who likes to follow internet etiquete. ;)
 
I recall using the Meg's soft wash gel in pinkish red color about 8 years ago and hated it. Not enough sud no matter how much I use.

May be the formula improved but I will stay away from it.

Never tried the rich sud soap.
 
I tried Gold Class,Rich Suds and Hi Tech and I think there is very little diference at all People today think if there is no suds the wash is not working That is not true!Meguiars does make a great wash but I think they are trying to fool us
 
I have both the blue suds and the gold class. Frankly, they both work and I don't care which one I use. Thumbs up to both but I thought my old #7 car wash worked pretty well too...

Since "English" begins with a vowel, you should say, "AN ENGLISH TEACHER," not, "A ENGLISH TEACHER."



Also, you are welcome to spell Meguiar's any way you like, but just try not to make an *** of yourself.

Are some soaps really acidic?? I thought soap was always basic. If it feels slippery, then it is a base, or so I thought.
 
well, yes...... some soaps (such as P21S..... citric acid[/i] based) have slightly acidic properties. Albeit mild acid, it does aid in removal of contamination. You are correct about the "if it feels slippery its soap" thing, but it is possible for even a soap to have some above-neutral pH level component which makes it less safe to use on wax/etc.



:nixweiss its all a wash (pun intended) as you can use any soap and recieve results in the same ballpark.
 
How are they fooling us? Is making more than one car wash a crime? For me, Gold Class shampoo is the most "luxurious" shampoo made my Meguiar's. It has a very good sheeting action, smell, and lubricity. Hi-Tech #00 wash seems sudsier but less slippery. Rich Suds isn't too good; there are plenty of suds but they aren't as dense and "compacted" as the GC ones. And the Deep Crystal one... well, that one sucks!

I reckon Rich Suds has alot more water in it than Soft Wash and GC......if u have a look at the bottle and shake it around the Rich Suds looks like Windex when u shake it...SF and GC are like hair shampoo on the other hand....I think Soft Wash is good stuff myself, in this country theres a huge diff in price between the 3, Rich Suds is by far the cheapest (cuz u probly get less real car wash)
 
Did you ever hear of a company making the same product but changing the color and raising the price?I used all of the three washes and found little or no difference.Maybe it has to do with the finish of the cars that you are washing, I just feel that companys make new products that are the same or very similar to keep there customers happy.GC wash cleaned my 4 runner just as good as RS and HI tech I didnt see a difference Its just my opinion ....................................................................................ALSO thank you CHUCKMOTOR about the grammer and spelling correction, next time I will check with you before posting!!
