I was hoping for some advice after my first shot with the spot buffs pads and my PC. When using the orange light cut pad I noticed the pad start vibrating more than it did at the start of my polishing regimen. Upon inspection the backing pate velcro was begining to de-laminate from the physical backing plate.:aww: I ran the PC speed up to the max of 5 while using the orange pad. I also used PFW pads and white, grey and blue 4" CCS pads without this trouble. I never had this problem with my 6" and 5" pads on a 5" backing plate. Am I using too much pressure with the orange pad (the pad continued to rotate and did not bog down with the pressure I used)? I had great success with the PFW pad. Should I just ditch the orange pad and move exclusively to the PFW? It seemed to actually finish down a bit better than the orange and at the very least the same amount of haze/micromarring. I was using all pads with PB SSR 2.5 and 1. I appreciate any input that could explain this situation. :thx
