P21S online in UK

I had a 205 1.9GTI 1991. 120Bhp @ wheels, Koni adjustable all round and a magnex full system. There were some pics of it on the PSOOC website from Pugfest 02 and Trax 01. I am still a member even though we sold both the 205 and the (black) 106 MK1 Rallye to buy a more sensible car to run the new baby around in (BMW 325i). I keep looking for another 205 to track but money is always an issue.

I will try and post some pics in this thread if I can downsize them a bit.

Not the best pics but give an idea. Personally on my old 205 I didn't really like the Gutman grill but never got round to changing it.

Any pics of your "new" 205 ?

Any North Americans reading this - have you seen these cars before ? and yes they are that small but go like stink especially where corners are involved. Only freeways are straight in the UK!!

Nice!! This car has been in a few mag features esp. when the 206 was realised. I remember that one mag took it down to the alps and it always aquitted its self very well.

I suppose you know all this though !!!!!

Is it too good to track ??? I can see another garage queen.

Have the Evo mag and torque it was in and more recently the Autocar test with the 180 206. Clarkson drove it on TV.

Just getting it track worthy, new rad and tyres so far, looking forward to the next curborough event.

Looking at that Pug. makes me want to buy one even more. My old one had just had a full engine rebuild - nothing fancy I just wanted a strong engine - giving the 120Bhp @ wheels. I only did around 6000 miles in it over 3 1/2 years. I tracked it a couple of times but never really pushed it as if I had damaged anything it would have broke my heart !!!!!

The Konis and lowering 30mm all round made a hell of a difference (also put on concentric top mount bits to give a bit more adjustability). Around a very twisty section on an airfield day I could catch everything, on the longer straights I was hankering more power though. I really annoyed a friend in his Porker GT2 as I could stop on his bumper through the twistier bits but when the track straightened he just left me like I had put it into reverse.

Yeah Curborough is always fun. I was at last years PSOOC day in the 106, but as it was going to be sold I didn't want to break anything. My friend was also there in his old Porker, only a GT3 - oh to have more money than sense
