Slightly off topic, but Good Heavens is OS neat! I ended up putting three coats on today. Ridiculous shine. I'm garaged at night, but park in full sun during the day at work. Weekly 1Z Perls wash. I will be able to tell how it's doing pretty quickly.

IMHO it would be best to test the durability of OS without 1Z pearls, since pearls will give nice sheeting abilities even on a unprotected paint. 1Z pearls is a awesome wash :xyxthumbs

I try to give you the benefit of the doubt but your posts sure sound like Zaino ads most of the time. :nixweiss This thread wasn't about Z-CS vs Opti-Seal either, the OP had a simple question about OS but you turned it into a comparison thread that seems like you are pushing the Zaino version.



I have no dog in this hunt, I use what gives me the best combination of cost, durability and price. And yes, I do use some Zaino products like AIO and Z5. I got some Z-CS for free (full bottle, shipped directly from Zaino) so don't you think if I honestly believed it was a better product than OS, I'd be using it? Why use something that costs me money and doesn't work as well as a free product, right?



Side by side by side on the same car, I could tell no difference in durability on a soccer mom abused 740 between OS, ZCS and UPGP. At 3 months when the car was traded in, all three were beading fine (not one I typically use ONR on either).



Z8 has about 3-4 weeks of durability for me, which seems a typical result. Are you really saying that Z8 is the most durable product in the Zaino line? Or just compared to other spray sealant type products? :think:

Not trying to push Zaino because I have no vested interest as some do, as my views are not skewd by hand outs, just giving my opnion. It just happened to be fresh in my mind because Because we had some remoldeling done and the contractor needed the garage for a couple of months. I thought it would be a good opportunity to test some products. I did 1/2 our van with ZCS and 1/2 with OS. After being outside 24/7 and not being washed for the 2 months the ZCS help up better based on tighness of beads and slickness. I do like and use both but IMO ZCS is more durable. I especially find this the case during the winter.



As far as Z8 for me durability is way better than 3-4 weeks . One other their best products ? You betcha. Most durable ? Certainly up there. I was also just saying I tried Z8 as I would ONR ( a true Favorite) and it worked great.



I don't know why you get intimidated by Zaino so much? I also feel a lot of yours when you read between the lines they are Zaino put downs. We could go back and forth with this. I will stop and say have a good weekend

I love Opti-Seal. It works very well for me, including durability.



I agree with a previous poster who said that OS is better than other sealants on darker colors. I prefer Jeff's Werkstatt on Silver, but the durability isn't as good as OS.
