Opti Seal

Okay... I think somewhere in this 9 pages, I read that you can put down something like a nuba wax and then seal it in with Opti Seal... is that correct? Or would it have to be the other way around?

And.... I also saw something about Clear Seal? What is that? Yes, I'm going to do a separate search for that, but I was already doing this reply and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks!

Does anyone know what the price will be for the opti-seal? I diffently will be in line to buy when it comes out because I really like the ease of use with CS but, am really impressed with Scottwax's results with opti-seal. Mike...

Opti-Seal can be used over a carnauba but there may be some "migration" of wax....David explained it to me but he used big words, like "the" and "it" and lost me.

I like Opti-Seal as a stand alone best, Ron and Scott like to use it in a combo with another product and if I did use it in a combo I would layer on top of the OS.

I'm not 100% sure of the price but I believe it will be around the $20 to $25 range for an 8oz spray bottle.

Labels are done:spot

Now....I still have no date for release but I would guess sometime next week....but that's *MY* guess, I have no concrete time or date from David as of yet.

Anthony,

Who will be carrying this? Will we be able to get it at someplace like Autogeek?

thanks....

I believe Autogeek will carry it, Top Of The Line, Kevin Ferrell's website, ....just about any place that sells Optimum

thanks....getting ready to place an order for PS (and other stuff), but I think I may wait and get the OS instead.

Thanks again my friend.

Alright, I have gone through all 9 pages of this thread and I don't believe this has really been answered...

I have PoliSeal which is for Paint Correction and Sealing. OptiSeal is pure Sealant. Is it overkill to use OS of OPS?

I haven't used OS but I don't think it's overkill. I've read where a lot of people top one steppers (OPS, PsW, AIO, etc) with a pure sealant for more durability/enhanced look.

I don't see why you can't use Opti over Poli. You can finish with a tiny bit more polishing with Poli, then have a perfect base to enhance it even more with Opti.

dang, another thing i'm gonna have to order, patrick should have it fairly soon! calling mr. patrick, care to chime in? :D

DHL just dropped off my order..... not sure if I'll have a chance to play with it today.... but hopefully soon!

Anthony, your labels look good......

Opti-Seal is a pure polymer.

Durability claim is a year although if I used it be put on every three months with poly-seal used spring and fall to clean.
