Opti-Seal with Carnuba?

I'm guessing you can't top carnuba with Opti-Seal since it's a polymer, but I did a search and couldn't find any info about this.



Anyone know if you can? Would be cool if you could do a nuba and have the protection of the Opti-Seal.

I believe that you can layer the nuba over the Opti-Seal...coorect me if I am wrong, but I have seen a post by Scottwax where he used Opti-Seal in conjunction with a nuba...don't quote me on that though.

I believe you can top a nuba with OS after the nube has cured (dissipated all volatile agents)

similiar to CS.



About 24 hrs. after carnuaba application.

Thanks guys... that's good news. I was hoping it would work with a carnuba... nice to get the protection of a polymer with the carnuba.

You can also do it in the reverse. Put the OS on top of the Nuba or underneath it.

How long do you have to wait for the wax to cure before the OptiSeal application?

Imatk, i would give it 12-24 hours to be safe.

I'd wait a full day and also wash the car (not QD) before applying Opti-Seal.
