ONR wash mitt?

I just ordered some ONR to wash my car and was wondering if I should use my microfiber wash mitt? Or what is the best thing to use. I see some people use a grout sponge but that doesn't seem like the best option.

Thanks, Josh

I still like the grout sponge the best. It will release the dirt much better than the mf mitt. Optimum has just released a wash mitt for ONR. I beleive its a foam type mitt.

Plush microfiber or the new Opti-Mitt:

"NEW!

Specially designed and tested with rinseless washing in mind, Opti Mitt is your new choice for washing without marring. The porous foam along with the waffle texture ensure dirt is lifted away from your paint during the wash process. With more than 90 pores per inch you'll have plenty of lubrication for a safe wash. The backside of the Opti Mitt doubles as a scrubber for stuck on debris while still remaining safe." From optimum forums.

Just received mine yesterday! Can't wait to use it.

It looks like an 8" wave polishing pad, that has a backing attached to it. You put your hand between the backing and the pad. It has a *ton* more surface area than a grout sponge. I've always used Eurow super plush MF's for ONR washes with great results... have to see how the ONR wash mitt compares.

Thanks for the responses. When I get the ONR I will probably try both the wash mitt and a microfiber over a sponge. Is putting the microfiber on a sponge just to make it easier to hold on to? Or is there another purpose?

Thanks,

David, CEE DOG did a video review that demonstrates the release capabilities side by side with a ShMitt. I like the charcoal color very much too.
