Not the best technique...

I think he needs to use a little more polish..... He must use a gallon to polish the hood by itself!

agreed, lol. he's pouring that stuff like it's maple syrup on pancakes! :rofl

in part 1 at about 6:15 i became scared...i don't think the dude put the buffer pad on the paint flat ONCE...i've never used a rotary...but that really made me frightened for the mustang...and all i could imagine was holograms!!! eek.

With a technique like that, holo's are the least of concerns. With the angle hey was digging into those panels with, its more likely to burn, but I wish there was full sun shots to laugh at. LOL

Holy crap i have not even used my pc yet but that video scared me i thought the pad had to be cept flat, he must be rich with all the polish he uses eeeekkk

Did anyone notice the descriptions of the steps?

Step 1: Remove scratches, oxidation, and imperfections - Adding brighteners and sealant

Step 2: Removing swirls and any cut marks - Polishing and sealing

:nixweiss By reading that we should have known this was going to be comical from the start.

I really like the close shot of him concentrating and doing his best job for the camera when working on the driver side door. Can someoe please tell this guy that the edge of his pad is tired and the rest of the pad is bored?? :chuckle:

HOLY Sweet Jesus!

All I can say. I too did not or could not stomach the other parts. I too would love to see the full sun angle shot.

Then, throw up.......

Aaaaccckkk! My eyes are burning!!! Please make it stop! :help:

Holy crap...so much pain and destruction in that video. Using a tanker of polish...not spreading it around for even distribution...digging for dinosaurs with the edge of his pads (on a rotary no less).

Just great...the next time someone wants to compete with the "Amazing $5000 detailer from the UK", do us all a favor and please consult the experts first.

The guy using the rotary is bad enough :nervous2:. But it gets really interesting in part 2 at about 06:00, when they show the other guy cleaning the inside of the door with a big car wash sponge with suds running down the panel, after which he proceedes to use compressed air along crevices and around the window switches  Looks like he's trying to get the soapy residue out of those places

Part one at 7:48- that kid used more polish for that half of the hood than I do for my three cars! I sure hope it's one of their cars. If it's a customer car, expect to see these guys on the side of a milk carton.
