non-shiny tire dressing

I have a customer that wants his tires protected, but doesn't want hardly any shine. What tire dressing has the dullest finish?

Eagle 1 Nano Protectant is my choice, because I like tires with no shine as well. Try it! Plus it's easy to find.

Just used One Grand EVR for the first time on sunday. After it soaks in its a nice matte finish on the tires i just applied it to.

megs hotshine...with a name like that you'd think it'd be dripping wet shine...but always dries to a nice sheen..

TOL Grape dressing, then buff off.

I agree, Love that stuff. I never really cared for shiny tires either. Even if you don't buff it off after about a day it sorta just turns black and the sheen is gone. Mmm... after work I'd better go clean my tires and reapply...

For customers like this, I just cut Zaino Z16 1:1 or 2:1 with water. If it's still too much, just follow up with a swipe of a clean MF towel.

I hate shiny tires and Z-16 is perfect for me. I find that if I apply then wipe off after a few seconds I get just the finish Im after. Its not shiny, just looks like a new tire, check it out...

Has anyone seen the same tires after a month or 2 of no upkeep?

I sprayed the tires on my *other job's work van* about 2 months ago with Meguiras #40 (What I used on all my customers cars at the time), and I saw it the other day, and holy shat, they're BROWN! Like, spraypainted brown. It's disgusting looking!

Needless to say, I will NEVER use #40 on tires again. I am loving my Optimum Tire Shine :)

The Adam's VRT leaves a very nice matte finish, its not shiny at all, it just looks clean. :2thumbs: I personally hate seeing "greasy" looking tires that look like someone drove through an oil spill.

BTW, the Adam's detail sponge is perfect for applying a non-aerosol based tire dressing! :D
