Hey Guys,

Its my first time here, I want to get some info on what to do or use, i have a Buick Grand National and if you guys know that the car is all black, my question is that my car has a alot of scratches, swirls, oxidation, hazing, if i had the money i would go and just get a paint job, but at this point in time i don't have that kind of extra to burn easily, i want to try and make the most of what i can use, i'm not hoping for a miracle here, cause its quite obvious that my paint is shot, but i would like to make the most of it for now and make it look alittle better than what it is at this point, any insight is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hey Joe ! Click the learn button up top and see if you can get any ideas from there. There are soooo many different items to choose from for our black cars... totally overwhelming if you ask me. Just take some time and read up on the awesome info within Autopia. You will learn so much !!! Also, you will probably get more answers if you post in the Autopia University too.

HvyMtlV6- Short answer: get two polishes, a fairly aggressive one and a milder one. Use the aggressive one until things look *much* better then use the mild one. I'd suggest 3M PI-III RC (05933) and PI-III MG (05937). These have worked well for many people. Then apply the LSP (Last Step Product, i.e., "wax") of your choice.
