New T-shirt concept...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
Hey everyone...I just wanted to run something new by you all and get some feedback. I'm lookin' to possibly do a small run of some Dickies-style work shirts to promote my auto-related design side biz. Anyway, this would be the design for the back. I'm not sure if I'll put anything small on the front yet or not.

Anyway, just wanted to see what people think if this design...does it give off an old-school kind of hot rod/rat rod vibe?

Let me know your thoughts please.

Thanks!

By the way...I just printed this 2-color design on light blue T-shirts this spring...

but I'm wanting something new for the late summer/fall.

Dude that is extremely slick. I really like the pinstriping and the way the whole design flows. Very very cool. When I get some money together I am gonna have you do a graphic for me.

I like it. It looks really nice. I may have to hire you to do my logo for me. I can't ever come up with anything that I like. You do great work!

Looks great for what your going for. Only things I can think of are:
1. The C in Graphics is capitalized?
2. You might want to make 'WWW.' and '.COM' a little bigger since i believe that is your only "storefront".

For the front you could use the same logo only smaller on the upper right side or something. For some reason I like the front logo on T-shirts on the right side and not centered. Anyone else like this?

Well that's just my opinion, but it already does look really great.

Actually...I did this for a reason. I felt the logo didn't feel balanced. Look here to better understand...

TMoore Graphics - heavy on the left

TMoore GraphicS - still slightly heavy on the left

TMoore GraphiCS - balanced

With the logo on the arch, I felt it needed to be symetrical, however it just didn't look right with smaller letters all on the right. Initially, I started with only capitalizing the 'S', but felt it still looked odd.

Unfortunately, my name makes it hard to work with. Over the years I've had several people call me T Moore as a nickname so that just kinda stuck for my name. Also because I sign all of my artwork (ever since I was a youngin') with a capital TMoore. Kind of odd, but it works for me.

Anyway...hope that explains it. As you can see I had some logic behind it...don't know if everyone agrees, but that's whay I did what I did.:D

Thanks guys for the compliments on my work...it really means a lot. I've done this for years now, but it wasn't until October of 2004 that I decided to get a website done and try to really push myself with this. I absolutely love doing it...it's a great break from my daily grind at a Fortune 100 company and it allows me to really express my creative abilities.

Thanks again!

By the way...this is how I sign all of my artwork and is where the TMoore came to be...

I see now. After I posted, I saw it was like that on your other shirt so I figured you wanted it that way. Makes sense. I probably would have commented on it looking uneven if it wasn't capitalized. LOL

I didn't think there was any fortune 100 companies in St. Louis

Looked at your site and you have some great designs....I was thinking about a Scion xB the box looking ride....then have it painted as a wood freight tpye box like the ones they laod on ocean freighters...Have all kinds of stickers from ports around the world on it...Is that something that you can do?

You are an incredible designer, and you have what alot of designers don't have, a natural talent. I love the first shirt, it definately has a hot rod flavor to it especially on black.

Your designs are really cool! You've definitely got an eye for graphic design. If you want to send me a couple shirts, I would proudly wear them to advertise for you!!! ;)

I love the black shirt. Old school stripes are awesome. I wish I had the talent for it. They seem to be making a come back. There is nothing is worse than seeing a nice paint job with vinyl stripes on it. If you ever send out any t-shirts, I'd proudly wear it!!
