New paint job question

Just got back my car for the Body shop after being in an accident.How long do I have to wait before waxing the new parts?Can I do it right away?Or should I wait a little?

Most say 90 days, others say 30 or 60...

You can still put a glaze on it as it still allows the outgasing(spell check) to work.

After I had my car painted the shop said wait a week to wash, and at least a month before waxing.

everybody shop seems to say something different, ask your body shop because it depends alot on the type of chemicals in the paint and what temperature they baked the paint at (if they did)

It depends on what the body shop does, they polished mine with a buffer after they painted it, actually did a great job, saved me 8 hrs

Using a water based wax/sealant during the cure period is just fine. Just make sure it does not contain abrasives.
