I finally got that Miata I've been wanting for three years. Now what?



Since the paint is new do I need to do all the steps I've done with the older cars?



How about this?

PPCL

AIO

SG



Is the PPCL and AIO redundant and if so which of the two would be better?



Should I polish by hand or with the PC?

Yes, The PPCL and the AIO are pretty redundant. I prefer the PPCL myself. I prefer to apply PPCL by machine and SG by hand because it dry's so fast and can be applied so thin.
 
A lot of people here would suggest you add a few layers of SG - waiting a full day for each layer of SG to cure.



When you're satified with the layers of SG, add some P21S or Blitz pure wax on top of it.



The wax won't last that long and you'll need to keep reapplying it. But it's like adding a wet layer on top of your already great shine.
 
Actually, if I use AIO or PPCL do I even need a Dawn wash. Doesn't the polish strip off everything? Can I just use GC wash?

Yhea, using PPCL and AIO should take everything off the surface so you don't really need to dawn wash. Go ahead and use GC wash if you feel more comfortable using it.
