NASCAR detailing products lol

I like the looks of the foaming wheel cleaner. I may give that a try. That would be the only thing, worse case you could buy it and have a extra bottle that makes foam for the apc.

unless this stuff is different i try to stay away from those acidic spray on, rinse off "wheel cleaners" they are very harsh and terrible for the environment as well. people are too damn lazy, its so simple to stick a bristle brush in some water and poke it through the holes in the wheels to clean them and get the rest with a rag.

My guess is that they're cheap for a reason. I can tell you that I won't be buying any. I have plenty of high-end products that have proven their place in my arsenal, and I have no reason to try the NASCAR line of stuff. MOST of the time, consumer-grade products don't impress me.

well its from holiday clearence. all their holiday car care kits are on sale. they have meguiars, turtle wax platium and F21, nascar, armor all kits available.

Funny that I found this.

My girlfriend, being the great one she is, bought me the Nascar kit for X-mas because she knows I like to keep up the G35. I didn't have the heart to say anything but she realized after the fact that the product was not to my caliber... she returned it :)

Being new I may not have a place to tear apart the Nascar commercial but I did notice some things that I would never do.

1. I would not put anything on a large spot of the wheel to test it's compatibility. If it would have caused damage it would have left a big nasty spot.

2. Dirty mitt, paint mitt is a GREAT idea. BUT someone should teach this guy the 2-3 bucket routine or at least give him one of these

3. that was a BIG A@@ fake buffer :grinno:

Thanks,

Scott

I just picked up 2 of the meguiars gold class kits for $14 each on clearance....came with like $40 worth of stuff... They do a 50% off sale every year after xmas to get rid of any detailing kits that they get in specifically for xmas. I picked up the megs on last year too...

I personnaly demonstrated the ineffectiveness of the nascar Carnauba Spray Wax yesterday. Total waste of money (not mine). i ended up demo'ing the effectiveness of clay with it though, so in retrospect, not a total waste !!

Not that the video was passing along terribly bad information but . . . watching this took 11 minutes of my life that I will NEVER get back. :doh
