Name that beading! Can you guess the LSP from the beading pics?

i guess Nu Finish because I know he loves the stuff :)

Beading means jack all,

Resistance to dirt & corrosion, as well as overall appearance to your eyes do matter.

No way to tell simply by the pics. The beading is dependent on any surface contamination and how the water hits the paint as much as what LSP is there.

I can spray a panel and mist the one next to it and the beading will be different.

This is the best way to explain picture 1.

2 weeks ago I tested HTEC and then wiped it down with alcohol/water (IPA). So IPA was the LSP (last step product). This is the way it looked a couple of times after it rained out too. I just wanted to prove to some new people here that tiny beading is not a way to test a product. Also chemicals in rain and water also have an effect on beading too.

I thought it was pretty interesing.

Scottwax has a great theory too...It's true!

#2 was 2 month old CS over 10 month old 1000p. It is crazy how the water travels up the hood so fast when driving. Dirt does not stick to this at all. That picture #2 has not been washed in 4 months neither.

Good to know that my guesses are wrong.. If I could really guess the LSP just by the beading, I think I need to go see my doctor... =)
