My Touareg Detail

Over the past few days I have been detailing my Offroad Grey Touareg.



This is my first post, but I have been lurking here for a few weeks.



I washed with dawn and followed with clay. I polished with a PC and Optimum Polish. I then wiped with a 50/50 IPA and then put on a coat of Klasse SG. Trim and tires were dressed with Optimum Tire Shine.



While I wasn't able to correct all of the swirls, I was very pleased with the results. I plan on using some optimum compound in a few weeks to finish the correction. This Touareg has never looked better, it is crazy to think that it can get even better!

Great Job. Dont forget to apply some AIO/SG on the wheels. It will make cleaning the brake dust off the wheels a snap.





By the way how do you like your Touareg? I have a 2004 V8 fully loaded and I love it!

I didn't even realize that this thread had made it up.



Thanks for all of the kind words. It is amazing what i have learned from this and many other sites such as the Vortex. I cant wait to try again on this beast and get closer to perfection. I will definitely provide some better pictures next go round.
