Have you had it out in the wintry weather yet, or is it only a "fair weather" vehicle?
It looks like Honda put more time into theirs ;)

Want to experience one? Check out this link and make sure you crank up the volume!! Select "START WEB SPECIAL" and enjoy the different views from outside, inside and wheel. Notice the cars diagram showing G forces and lap.

Here's the link: Origin Motorsport.

Enjoy!!:bigups :bow

No, only fair weather, it's not a C4S. Those can be driven in snow like any other 4 wheel drive car.

It's amazing to watch Porsche race cars on the track and how some beat those cars from Italy. GT2 class this season for ALMS should be interesting as now BMW is in GT2 class now!

I go to Lime Rock for ALMS races and it's wild!

Also nice that FarnbacherLoles is in Danbury, CT although they moved the race division south, they still have the best advise and products to turn a normal street car to a track warrior for weekend track work and still drive it home!

There's nothing like the sound of a GT3 at 8000RPM!

You also will not slide in these seats! These are Adaptive Sport Seats or ASS as we call them. Very adjustable and hold you in as most other race seats without HANS. Just try these with a full race harness and they work just fine.

The new seats for GT2 are carbon fiber backs and can tilt forward. Big $$ for these seats, but another nice seat.

Wouldn't you know, Porsche charges for floor mats! Most swap for custom ones anyway.

Yea about $200 for 2 fronts and those little bitty things that go in the back.:rofl

Forgetaboutit.....I like your custom fit Cardboard:bigups

BTW, Rolex race on Sunday at Leguna on Speed Channel at 4:00PM in my area.:bigups

Time to chear on FBL team!

Thanks, Its now on My Calender:bigups

I had to set a reminder as I'm going to Danbury Porsche open house Sunday as well. I'm sure we'll be done before race start.

Can't wait for ALMS at Lime Rock. Skip really updated the track and spectator areas. It's all new! Track surface was done and it's great! Watching all different classes running on the track is wild! And you know when the Corvettes and Vipers start on the track as they are the loudest. The TDI Audi was really quite as opposed to other cars. Too bad both it and the RS Spyders are not in ALMS this season.

Flying Lizard team is doing well for Porsche. As long as Melo from Rissi's team doesn't punt anyone with that F430.

We shall see how well the teams and mfg's do.

Enjoy!

^ Yeah, it breaks my heart too that I won't be able to see the Spyders nor the new R15 at Mosport this year. I'm hoping there will be a customer R10 there this year. I loved it every time the Audi came by. All you would hear is the air that it was pushing and just a tiny bit of engine as it went by. Beats taxicabs anyday.

It was just odd when they went by as you'd think being an "oil burner" it would be loud as snot. Quite the opposite.

With BMW now in GT2, it's getting a bit crowded in ALMS. Also Austin Martin, Mazda, it just gets nuts!

Pontiac did well on the dry track, but wet, could not keep up.

At ALMS events we have a Porscheplatz were you see every model from 356 to GT's, GT3's GT2's etc. We have a great time.

I hope the FarnbacherLoles team does well, Dirk is one hell of a driver! As long as the car holds up and it doesn't get punted, he should do well this weekend!

You have to experience driving a Porsche on track, it's wild knowing you have an engine hanging out the back and it corners so well. just nuts!

wb deanski. I met fbl at sebring they are very friendly. I even got their autographs. I also want to say gt2 will be tough with factory corvettes running in 2 months. Great to see u used ur car on the track. hope u post pics of ur gorgeous porsche 997 c2s

Well, at least FBL placed third!

It was a good race at the start.

The Mazda once it got a lead, just never gave it up.

DP also was a close race.

Watkins Glen in June for Rolex, ALMS soon.
