Mum's Freelander gets the treatment!

The Freelander was designed while BMW still owned Land Rover, as was the current Range Rover. It doesn't have any Ford input in the design. I am going to assume that the next generation will be built on a common Ford platform since that seems to be the direction Ford is taking with its Jaguar and Land Rover divisions.
