I would like to say that this is the worst product I have ever bought. This is the worst spray detailer, I would say buying it from a store I would rather have bought eagle one SD. Im buying online now, so Im getting quickshine.

what didnt you like about it?

I have a black car, it just doesnt apply good, I have applied from applying little to using alot. Leaves streaks, not really smooth gliding over paint. It doesnt give a really amazing shine. I used to use eagle one and that was a whole lot better. Its just horrible, :/

I concur. I found it terrible. The only useful thing about it is the spray bottle you get after you throw out the junk within.

I wasn't that impressed with it either on my Black Honda. I thought it didn't leave a very "clear" finish once wiped off. This is the second QD product I've used. I was using the sample Sonus Spritz and that did a better job.

PS - I'm not using NXT wax underneath.

I had similar issues with it initially. I found that when used with NXT Tech liquid or paste wax it works pretty well. It is not a QD and doesn't work well if used like a QD. I spray it on an Even Coat applicator and apply very, very thinly after every other wash. It doesn't streak and leaves a pretty slick finish when applied like that. Goes on and comes off very easily if you apply it whisper thin. Since it only takes about 20 minutes to do this, the process is simple and the car always looks freshly detailed. The slickness keeps the dirt from gaining much of a hold so the car is much easier to keep clean too. I like it now that I've developed that technique. Like NXT, the product looks a lot better the next day than it does immediately after application.

I have to agree as well, the NXT spray wax is an awful product. I had problems with streaking, smearing and an uneven surface even when applied thin. I threw mine away.

The Speed Detailer works well with my NXT or #21 sealants. I once tried it on P21s and it was terrible. The deep and slightly glossy look turned into one that looked like plastic..... So now I keep speed detailer only for sealants.

Wow...there's a lot of mixed reactions to both Speed Detailer and Spray Wax. Personally, I enjoy using both products, and I haven't had any problems with either of them. Of course, it's most likely because my Mustang has a few coats of NXT Tech Wax on it.

The way I see it, Spray Wax is not very effective by itself. It's meant to be a booster for an existing layer of NXT Tech Wax. I haven't tried Speed Detailer on a different waxed surface yet, but judging by the posts above, it sounds like the surface wasn't wiped thoroughly; hence all the streaking.

The original post was about the Speed Detailer, not the Spray Wax.

jfelbab's comments started the confusion. jfelbab, How is NXT Speed Detailer not a QD? Maybe you misunderstood the previous posts, and thought they're talking about the NXT Spray Wax. :nixweiss
