Just using Griot's to clean leather?

That's why it was confusing to me, well, if you think about it, me in there looking for a sponge to do leather with, not knowing what I'm doing, and the only sponge I find is this huge one that's being marketed for exteriors, but makes vague mentions toward interiors....

as for sponges, I'm confused. are you looking for sponges to CLEAN the interior? if so I don't see an issue with using a normal sink sponge (in the cleaning section), just make sure it doesn't have the abrasives (scotch-brite) and they typically have "sensitive" sponges which qualify for soft enough for skin. for the foam applicator pad, if you're confused on those, its like the Turtle Wax yellow pads (that come in the old green container I'm sure everyone knows about), at least thats what I think when I hear "wax applicator", someone correct if I'm wrong here.

Ike,

There are different Scotch Brite pads. I use the delicate duty version which is white.

levander,

Leather is not that complicated. Wiping your car leather down with a damp cloth will take care of most of your cleaning. If you want a cleaner, then try the Woolite mix or the Joy dishwashing mix. I never use a conditioner, as they really aren't needed for car leather. You can try a protector. Jeff Ochs has a protector that he developed for BMW and has had lab tested. You can find it at refinishcoatings.com.
