Just got done polishing. I'm about to wax, and I have a question.

I just gone done using about 90% of my energy by polishing by hand (don't have any machines). Although it didn't get all most of the scratches, it still looks better. Now, since I'm tired and I still have to wax, I have a question. When I wax, do I have to apply lots of pressure in swirl motion like I did with polish? Or is it different with wax? Can I just apply it in swirl motion using barely any pressure (since I'm tired)? I know that wax just protects, so I don't really think I need to apply lots of pressure to get it on there.

Just lightly coat it on once, and then once more for optimal coverage!



Just make sure that you use a nice clean wax pad.

By lightly, do you mean just barely apply pressure? Basically, do I just need to put in on the car?



And, do I really need to apply 2 coats? Or will 1 be good? I know I'm half assing it but I'm leaving in about an hour to a friends, so I don't think I would have time for 2 coats.
 
Just barely apply pressure.....just enough to spread the wax out evenly.



I would recommend two coats but hey, that's up to you.

I always found #26 for go on and come off very easy. I really liked it, but I never found it to last too long. Anyone else experience it this way?
 
Apply it WHISPER THIN!!! The begineers mistake is to apply it too thick. Apply it as thin as you can, so that you barely see it on the surface until it hazes. THIN THIN THIN
