If you have had a respray done, you may need to let it cure before applying wax products. Ask the shop that did the respray. If it's been more than three months, you should be safe. Good luck!

Cheers for the offers of help.

my car hasnt had a respray yet, im waiting to get some more stuff finished on it then doing it. But yeah, i will ask em about curing. does that mean the paint will be softer, and more easily pick up stone chips etc in the first 3 months?

Its not how fast you can go on this board. Its how clean and reflective you can get......Or mabe its how fast you can get there clean.. OR ..Well forget it  and welcome aboard your car looks good. And if you like me you will get hooked this place rocks.:bounce

Why the respray, do you have paint problems or just fancy a change.

LOL, rich, you follwing me?

Im getting the respray in the same colour, but ive got a new bonnet, new boot, new side skirts, and am taking all the locks and indicators off the car, and a new spoiler and grill and rear bumper, so its as cheap to have the car resprayed as the bits!

and of course, once its new paint it will be sooooooo much easier to clean.

lol, theres people on here that make you car look like its been living in mud!!

defo going to get some MF cloths, they sound very useful.

Cheeky! Wait till trax, the cars been through a two week cleaning regime already and it looks so much better than Pugfest! All the underbodys now clean! Ficshed painting the barkes etc and its had loads of Meguirs show car glaze! Might clay, paint clean it all and statrt again fresh ready for trax now though!

I'm new here too, Basically just a test post. I've been reading up on car care for the past year, and using Zaino to protect the surface. Looking foward to all the advice this site offers
