I have so many leaves just off of our one 180' tall Maple, that if left to their own devices, I will never see the ground, all the plants, OR the German-Girls back there until Spring- and if it snows on top of that, well who knows, maybe April..
I have a back pack gas powered leaf blower and even it has a struggle with these bigger than some small dogs sized wet maple leaves, I could go through a few tanks of gas trying to move them around, so I get as many as I can on the back lawn and mulch the heck out of them.
The rest, if I cant get them all to the other side of the yard where I have a compost pile, I try to make smaller piles or dig them into the soil everywhere and hope they will break down by next year.
To try to bag this many leaves would make even an OCD Detailer extremely batty if you know what I mean, and you would never be able to keep up, much less get them all up before another huge bunch came off of your tree/s or the trees around you in other yards.
So Yes, I can zone out for days back there with the leaf blower, as long as I have several gallons of 50:1 !
