How do you guys apply Optimum Car Wax Spray?

Do you spray it on by spritzing or by streaming? I am asking because I noticed that if i spray it, some of the wax gets on the windows. Is this ok? Should I try and only get it on the paint surface or can i just spray away and wipe off any excess that goes on the window?

Thanks.

try applying it to an applicator pad, then putting a light coat over the entire car. whenever the wax has setup, go over it with a microfiber, and wipe the residue off.

Just spray and wipe. It is fine if it gets on glass and trim because it wipes away without leaving any residue and will in fact, protect those areas too.

I think what Patrick is getting to is..

Spray the OCW on your PC pad and just apply it with the PC like you would a normal wax. Very simple, which is why i like OCW so much.

Makes sense, I'll have to give it a try.

There is no set up time with OCW. As stated, just spray, I use a fine spray, then work it into the paint until gone and buff with a clean mf towel.

Do you intentionally wax all your windows? Does it affect the visibility or glare?

Yes. I try to keep Castrol Accuvision or a good coat of wax or sealant on them. I havent noticed any glare or any decrease in visibility. When it rains, the water beads up and runs off. I really love Accuvision (or OCW) on my windshield; however, many people dont like their windshields to bead water. IMO, it makes the wipers much more effective. Give it a shot on a door glass or quarter glass and see if ya like it. If you dont like it, it's not hard to take back off.

I use my spray waxes with the Meguaires even coat applicators which are like mf sponges, works out well does it quickly and the design is easy on the hands, I find those foam applicators and even mf towels are hard to hold on to and not drop and fatigue the hands after a long days work.

in terms of shine/reflection how would you guys rate OCW spray on a 1 to 10 scale (10 being the best shine you have ever seen). I'm about to run out of Aqua Wax and I'm debating on what to try next. I think I'm done with past waxes I see no advantage and I think there is less likelyhood of swirling the paint with a WOWO spray wax (you can only flip a single applicator once!).

if i want to remove my sealant and use OCW to help remove it, do i spray the OCW on the car or just onto the MF?
