Honda NSX

I don't usually have the time or space to detail cars anymore, but this one I couldn't resist to detail :D

It's a 8 year old Honda NSX w/ 130.000Km on it. Not bad shape overall but the roof was once (badly) painted and had a lot of paint defects that needed some wet sanding.

It was a full detail, the engine was dry cleaned, wheels out to clean, seal and dress tires, and the wheels weels were also cleaned and dressed.

The paint was polished w/ a rotary and waxed.

Here are some before pics:

I used a lot of products.

1Z Universal Cleaner & Smell Remover, APC, Mothers Preserver, 1Z LeatherPfledge, Megs Colorx on door jams, Lithium grease, Pooboys Bold & Bright, Megs S-Dressing (wheel wells), Poorboys Wheel Sealant, DACP, Presta Ultra Cutting Cream, Menzerna Final Finish and Megs # 26, and maybe others

Amazing!

After looking at this makeover, its bought 2 areas to my attention.

Wheel wells, i could probably do with doing this, although i have the wheels off alot as i do change my ride height quite often...

Door Jams, i quick detailed them today but polish, seal and wax would make them look flawless.

Great work, it looks as though it rolled out of the factory :)

That signature makes that one rare NSX!!! IIRC, there were both a Senna Edition and a Zanardi Edition of the NSX. I don't remember what was special about either of them. I think the Zanardi Edition was lighter and only came in a couple colors. At any rate a *very* special car!

I have read that there are no Senna editions.

More here and here.

Is this a sticker or is it signed? What year is the NSX? Are there any other labels indicating Senna on the car?

Some info on the 50 red Zanardi NSXs made is here.

Since we never rcvd the NSX-R in the states, the Zanardi is pretty much the tops with it's 6 spd, weight, engine and rigid body combined. Several have been totalled, so it is getting harder to find a good one.
