It was my first try on such damaged paint. The car was full of scratches, swirls and water spots.I used UDM,#83 on 4" yellow SFX-1 spot pad,#80 on SFX-2 Polishing pad,and for finish i used Mothers Reflection and some carnauba paste wax.It was a 2 day work and i finished (i think) with the paint and i have to detail the wheels, some trims etc...Please tell me your opinion about this and give me some advise to get better next time.

I can see some hazing or marring (i don't know how to say it). This is because of not complete removal of carnauba i think(i need some advice on that )

Great job! Is the Inspire the equivalent of the Civic?

Not sure what you mean by "marring", but I see the same little pin point bubbles or tiny pock marks that I had on my Accord and have on my 2003 Civic. I've also seen it in other close up photos of polished Hondas on this site. I'm not sure what that is, but I've come to regretfully accept it as a "feature" of Honda paint.

The only minor, minor comment on improvement that I would suggest is going back by hand to polish close up behind the rear window. But maybe that is just a shadow that I'm seeing.

Remarkable turn around! Shows how much correction the UDM is capable of!

it is not the equivalent of the civic.it is one model between Accord and Legend.this one is 1994 model 2500cc 5 cylinders on line(not v ) about 300hp. it is a great car according it's age.I have the 2005 Accord ( TSX MODEL) and i think that one has better equipment : )

Thanks for the comment

Nice correction

Reminds me of the Acura Vigor we use to get here.

Maybe is the same.In Europe most models have different names that in USA.

For example the European Accord is The USA TSX, Integra is the RSX etc etc

nice job!

a little comment though, don't put bottles ontop of the paint without something like a towel underneath it. the slightest movement and you could be polishing out defects again!

great job again!

It is the Acura Vigor we used to get here up until the point that they changed the Vigor name to TL in the mid 90's. This one would have been a 2.5TL in the states given the 2.5 liter 5 cylinder which by the way produced around 170 hp in this car (300 is just a bit optimistic). The Inspire was sold as basically an upmarket Accord everywhere else, but here it became the Vigor/TL. If I remember right, the new TL is sold as the Saber elsewhere.

Maybe it was modified :p .OK I don't know the real hp,i just said what the owner told me,and to be honest it is more powerful than my Accord(2.0 liter i-vtec 155hp) which is also lighter then the Inspire which has not a VTEC Engine.Maybe the big difference is on the torgue.

Yes is the USA TL Model and i also saw some Saber models but i am not sure if Saber is the new version of Inspire.
