Help choose Christmas gift wax

In her name draw for Christmas, my fiancée got the name of her brother-in-law who manages a detail shop and does some detailing on the side. In my conversations with him, he normally uses bulk-type chemicals for high volume detailing for dealerships, used car places, ect.

He recently bought a freshly painted Chrome Yellow Ford Ranger Splash and loves it more than anything he has ever driven before. I'd like to help my fiancée pick out a nice wax (read: buy for her) that will really set the yellow off. He is already a master of the rotary, so this wax would be purely for top coating. I'd like to order if from premiumautocare.com if possible, because Dwayne rocks!

Liquid Souveran looks nice on red, so I imagine it would look nice on yellow being a primary color and all. I think Don owns a yellow car, maybe he will chime in on this.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It's always fun to spend someone else's money! Of course, maybe I'll keep the free UGE to myself ;)

I'm leaning towards Natty's

Yellow. I was speaking in context of the intended recipient.

And for the record, I love S100 on black, and also over NXT on silver ( metallic ). So go figure?!?

Of all the waxes that were mentioned I only tried S100 and love it! 15 buck and available at a near by Harley Dealer You can't go wrong. Maybe you should get him that P21S kit, with carnauba wax, wheel cleaner etc. in a nice little case. If you are just getting him a wax, although I have not used it, I would go for Souveran!

Very interesting, I am waiting to use UPP and have it sitting in the garage, and plan on ordering poorboy's kit with Natty's.

I guess it really depends on how much money you were planning on spending. I would say to get him the $50 Wolfgang kit from Pac or Autogeek. That way its something different that isn't available locally and that he probably never heard of but is sure to like better than the "professional" stuff. If you wanted to spend a little less maybe just some UPP and if you wanted to spend a little more maybe the Menzerna Kit. Good Luck

I like P21s, its a breeze to use and looks good on almost anything. It's also pretty durable. I'm also curious to try TS, i've heard nothing but good things about it. Not sure if the grab bag has a price limit or what but Souveran is a tad pricey IMO.

A tin of Natty's + shipping is just about what the budget calls for. I'm just waiting to see if PAC offers a different special than the current free UGE offer.

EDIT: Looks like I missed the UGE! Its no longer listed on the PAC home page :doh
