Today was my second time using my PC 7336 from Lowes. I have the Sonus SFX pad kit from autopia. I was using the blue pad and #3 finishing up my dad's CR-V. I had the PC on 4 and as I was making a pass the backing plate and blue pad literally flew away and the metal was left screwed into the PC. In the split secod that the pad flew of the metal hit the car and put a scratch and quarter sized dent in it on the bottom of the driver's door. I dunno what to do. Ive been reading on this forum for almost a year and I followed instructions I found on this site very well. I did A LOT of research on the methods of usage before buying so Im pretty sure I knew what I was doing. I searched and found one other thread where this happened. Luckily for that person their PC didnt slam into the car. This really sucks. Someone please advise.
