Hey everyone, hope you all have a safe & happy New Year's Eve, and a good 2007. :) Finished my last detail of the year today, so here are the last few.

Dodge Ram SRT-10, the owner works for a dealership and contacted me because he "didn't want to let [his] in house detail guys work on it". :D . I actually worked on the truck at the dealership, and while there service area was shockingly awesome, their "detail bay" left a lot to be desired (I took one look at the dirty push brush and giant california water blade and cringed). Anyway, as you can see someone got to this truck, it was *brand new*, and looked like this:

The rest of the truck was pretty much the same. :/

Process:

Wash w/onr

clay

Menzerna IP/orange @1400

FPII/white @ 1100

Z5pro

The paint was pretty hard, but it came out well and finished down very nicely.

And full fun shots.

2006 BMW Z4M, another new-ish car. Same as the last one but less severe dealer installed marring. This one sat on the dealership floor so the marring was as a result of dusting. No big deal really.

Wash

clay

Hi Temp Heavy/white @1500

106FF/grey @ 1200

Z5pro

I neglected to take befores, I am not sure why. :/

2007 BMW 335i, jet black. As a lot of you may have seen this paint has some issues (imo), this is the 4th one I've done and all 4 were the same; stupid soft. Like so soft they marr under the pressure of a microfiber soft. So soft the marring below was removed with 106ff, and that's all that would finish down without marring. I've done 11 e92's now, jet black is the only effected color as far as I can tell.

This car had been washed once, by the dealer. That's it....

Sinful, I know.

Process:

wash

clay

106ff/grey @1000

more coming

Thanks guys.

love the bimmer, the sr10 must sound awesome!

It sounds absolutely evil. I took a picture of the engine bay, I will see if I can find it. It's sort of uninspiring but the engine is like a meter long, so it's kind of neat. And ya, I drove out behind him and....damn, it's loud! :D

seriously considering changing my order for the diamond schwarz now, if anything just for the easier maintenance

would i be right in assuming a metallic black would be harder than my current non metallic black 350Z - im getting so sick of seeing new swirls/light scratches all the time

Ok, Picus, I have got to ask what process you used on the 335i. Was it the same as your previous thread that you detailed a bunch of 335i's/328i?

What process would you reccomend for a lighter car like titanium silver?

It's hard to say. Black varies from different manufacturers. It isn't *just* that the e92 is black that makes it tough, it's that *this particular* black is very soft. I worked on a black sapphire (metallic black) e92 and it was "normal", so average hardness like my sparkling graphite, and the other colors I've worked on. It looks like jet black is the only one with this issue.

Your detailing work has never failed to amaze me, fantestic job on all the cars and the Z4 simply looks awesome :bigups .

GREAT WORK!! I love 106ff and z-5 pro! They are my top products that I could not live without them. I hope your customers appreciate the best products money could buy are being used on there vehicles!
