Duragloss 951 Aquawax removed my paint!!!

The FX gives more of carnauba look....AW will last longer though....

I have seen past posts where some have used the Eagle One spray nanowax and also the FX or reflections spray wax and then topped it with AW to lock in the carnauba look...

To me..using the 105 and AW gives a nice wet deep look...AW is a very clear looking product so it will lock in any look you have on the paint....so if you have a wax LSP and has a warm look..the AW will leave the warm look..but add slickness and durability to it...and also added depth...

AW acts different with different LSP's...it intensifies the look of the underlaying LSP...

I have used AW over Meg's 26 and the look still remained the same as the Meg's..but intensified it...

AW is a outstanding product...show me a product thats does the same as AW for the same cost and lasts as long..and looks as good...

I think I am in the minority here, but if you mean Mothers FX Spray Wax, I like it better than the AW.

For me it was slicker and lasted just as long. In terms of looks, on my silver car, the FX seemed "clearer", more sealant-ish and the AW gave it more of a carnuba glow. The flake popped better with the FX. Both were extremely easy to use. Both good products and good values.

just took another smell of this stuff, its deffenitly coconut or pina` colada.

my bottle has a red sticker on the spray head that says New! maybe they changed the smell

It has always smelled of mango or a tropical blend, to my knowledge. A very pleasing smell IMO...

The "New!" on the label just indicates its a new product for Duragloss. That label has been on there since the product came out.

How long does one bottle of Aquawax last on a midsize sedan? I'm thinking of getting some AW for the winter (probably from duragloss or autogeek as suggested), but it seems expensive compared to my Collinite paste wax which costs about the same after shipping. Of course, I understand most other products of the same quality and performance of AW cost significantly more, so, just curious...

Hm.. One bottle lasts quite a while :) So I guess it is applied extremely thin, correct?

BTW, a very generous member has offered to send me a sample of AW to test out. Thank you very much!

I got a gallon of the stuff I was so impressed. I spray it on every last bit of the car from the chrome tips to the wheels to the railings on the roof. It doesn't matter what you get it on, IT just WORKS! ;)

heh, I've been feeling my paint over the last few days and its slicker than when I put the AW wax on.

It's been about two weeks since my layer of AW and its still slick, but then again there hasn't been any rain or washes so I guess there's no reason for slickness to be totally affected anywas :D

No problem man. We are looking forward to the pics. :woohoo:

My AW showed up a day early, from AG. I got the chance to use it for the 1st time today. All I can say is............WOW! I never expected such stunning results from a product that costs so less! The smell reminds me of Pinnacle Crystal Mist. Quite pleasing! The ease of use was just ridiculously easy. It applies just like a good QD does. Melts right into the paint. No fuss whatsoever. It produced a high gloss finish on my black paint over the 2 layers of CG 5050 maintained with ONR washes & QD'd by alternating FK#425 & Quikshine post wash. Super slick, Wet-n- glossy! I just love trying new products that exceed my expectations!
