Detailing Music!

I like a lot of talk radio. When it comes to music, classic rock rulz (I used to love metal but some of the lyrics can be as bad as hardcore rap). A bit of country is good, especially Clint Black, George Strait and Randy Travis. I would love to play it on speakers but I would like it too loud for the neighbors' liking. If you get a minute, and you like classical, I strongly urge you to go to YouTube and check out Pachelbel's Canon in D Major done by JerryC on his electric guitar.

I keep an old vacuum tube radio in the garage. Mostly, it's tuned to college and non-commercial stations.

I have a wireless bluetooth set of earphones. I got tired of getting tangle in the cord from the ipod. It also solved a problem of missing business calls while machines are running or I'm crawling around the back seat of a car because it pauses the music when the phone rings and I can answer the phone on the headset, then go back to the tunes. Works great and saves me from losing jobs! It's called Motorola S9. Also water resistant.

As for the music..... metal metal metal! Just never outgrew it from childhood. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC etc. I do have some mellower stuff on the Ipod but when I am working that's my go to stuff

I have an Aiwa Bookshelf system that has an RCA cord to my iPod. Mostly hard rock, some Dave Matthews...but mostly I ROCK!!! :cornut:

I have an ipod and some nice noise cancelling earphones that I tried out last weekend until some kid walked into my garage while my back was turned to solicit some sort of grand opening. 'bout had a heart attack - followed by anger that he thought he could just walk into my garage. anyway... might try the ipod again

Boom box in the garagel, pumping hip-hop and R & B... LOUD!!! When I was living in NJ, a neighbor two doors over would spend a lot of time outdoors (either on cars or gardening) and he would love to blast his country music. In response, I came with the thunder!!!

He was not a fan of my beats, about as much as I was not a fan of his... LOL

songs from 80s to the current ones. R&B, soul, pop... Joe, Boys 2 Men, Tevin Campbell, After 7, Babyface to name a few.

I gf (ex) used to force play her Britney CDs, the horror!

I brought out my old Sony reciever and AR speakers. I used to have Sirus hooked up to it but now I just listen to the radio. Once in a while I will plug in my iPhone and listen to the music I have on there or Pandora.

(just give Luster the d**n raffle will ya!) Just kidding Bill.

I have my eye on a Bose Wave radio shortly JUST for the garage. I like contemporary rock most of the time and the occasional CD.

I used to listen to a variety of music when I was working, but as I grow in my walk it doesn't do the same thing for me now as it once did. So anymore it's usually mp3 sermons, on the Ipod, from John MacArthur, R.C. Sproll and a couple others mixed with some contemporary christian music.
