Connecting dots from clay to collinite. w/rotary

ahh..and any idea on how long it'll bead on average? (or how long the protection lasts)

Sorry, but that's *so* dependent on numerous variables that I won't even hazard a guess. Longer than most other LSPs though.

man this whole time i was thinking i should seal it before anything....i guess collinite should be ok for 4-6 months? (which the occasional 476 topper ? or was 845 the better regular lsp?)

I've had Collinite last a *lot* longer than 4 months, but I've had it die in four *weeks* too! Just too many variables...I'm not blowing you off, it's just like that :nixweiss

I'd use 845 as the subsequent topper/replenishing wax as it's less likely to cause issues such as pseudo-holograms than the 476S.

The whole "sealant" thing....eh, Collinite outlast plenty of sealants IME. But I don't really choose between sealants and waxes based soley on durability, that's just one factor out of several that I consider when picking a LSP for a given vehicle.

fair enough :) hehe oh btw is there any particular thing i should look out for with Carbon fiber?--going to be helping my friend detail his STI and I hear CF's are a bit...testy?

Sorry, can't help with that newfangled CF stuff :grinno:

oh btw...what do you do about windows and stuff? wash claybar polish?(what do you polish with and i would think using collinite on windows would be super fail? lol )
