Cleaning RWL's water free?

I really hate breaking out the hose and all that good stuff just for my RWL's on my tires. I have minimized washing my car so much by using S&W and S&G, but I need a good plan on cleaning my RWLs. I finally got the chance to try some BNB and Im in love with it, but even though the shine is still there and the tires still look clean, the RWL's become brown and ugly.

Does anyone have any solutions for cleaning my RWL's without water...

I believe i tried a Mr. Clean pad at one time and if i recall correctly it wasnt that effective.

Pat you must be using some miracle cloth! Cleaning dirty RWLs is a pain :(

I've gone as far as spraying some Wesley's Bleche White on a towel and going over the letters, but it dried too quickly and didn't come close to what a good scrubbing with A2Z can accomplish.

Naw it's not tht easy.. but it will work with BnB i was scepical at first also but seeing is beliving. Bleche white does dry way too fast to work with out water.. but BnB seems to melt off dirt from tires and if you take a clean MF and wipe you letters they will be white.

OK I went outside and braved the cold and now you guys are going to make me clean the wifes truck before she comes home tonight.. anyways

I have the same tires on my truck and a bottle of B and B. Guess I know what I will be trying this weekend lol....

Ah so its sort of like the oiliness of the BnB emulsifies the dirt on the RWLs? I'll try that with my equivalent tire dressing. Thanks Pat! :D

Um...BnB is a cleaner as well...from the Poorboy's website:

Bold N Bright is a water-based, high-gloss tire dressing and cleaner. It is a great whitewall and RWL (raised white letters) cleaner that is

safe and easy, while leaving a Super looking tire.

-Water Based

-Spray or Wipe On

-Long Lasting Shine

-Cleans as it Shines

-Can be Diluted

-Dries to the Touch

-Not Greasy or Sticky

So it may or may not work with any dressing.

I was unaware of such Mr. Astronomy :p

But what makes BnB a cleaner?

I just imagined it was like how you can use gasoline to remove tar.
