Changing Counterweights

What major impact will there be if I change out my 5" weight with a 6" one?



This is on my PC of course.

From what I know, the PC wasn't even designed with polishing paint in mind but as a sander. The weight of the pad is much more than the sanding paper that's the intended use and that's before there's any polish in the pad. That said, the whole sales of counterweights thing is a pointless money maker IMO. Myself and others have noticed NO difference between the two weights.

all pc have a counter weight

there are two different sizes

but they are sized for the sanding pad only
