Cd-2 discontinued?

Actually my engine was significantly dirty before that. I used Meguiars APC 4:1 and agitated with a terry towel, let dry, sprayed CD2, wiped excess with terry towel and there ya go an engine clean enough to eat off of.

Everything I read about it says that it's an engine degreaser. Spray on, agitate if needed, and hose off.
CD-2 used to be sold as a kit, with a degreaser in one can and the dressing in the other. The cleaner smelled very solventy, and probably fell victim to VOC regulations. For a while now, I've only heard of people finding the dressing rather than the degreaser/dressing kit (and that's assuming you can find it at all in your area).

My autozone had 2 cases today. I grabbed one and will be trying it tonight. Im interested to see what it does for wheel wells. Someone mentioned it worked nice for that as well.

cd2 is one of my favorite products. A few months ago i bought the only 6 can's my local autozone had and i have not seen it restocked since. I will buy as much as i can when i come across cd2, it is not like it goes bad and i know i will for sure use it.

Well I used it last night and Im not overly impressed with it but it did do a nice job. The real test is the longevity of it and how often it needes to be reapplied. I also used it in that wheel wells and tested it on some trim. It looked good in the wheel wells and Im curious to see how it reacts with the trim.

CD-2 is great for engine bays. Produces great finish on the engine and unlike a lot of other products, it doesn't attract dust.

A little expensive for my tastes to use it on wheel wells when armor all works just as well and is a lot less expensive.

Stocked quite well at my local Advanced Auto Parts. Grabbed a bottle since I heard it's soo good.

I work there and we do not sell it. What is the part # I want to see if we can order some.

Most Autozone's have as much as you want, look directly next to the Gunk EB1 engine cleaner, its sitting there, which is where I found mine too and used it today too on my 37k miles engine.

Sorry, got mixed up with my stores. Autozone was where I grabbed mine. Maybe I should grab a few more bottles!

Just picked up a couple of cans at Kragen's auto parts in NorCal. Coupon of the month is 2 cans for $8.

They only had 3 cans on the shelf. Didn't ask if they had any more.

I just picked up some at Autozone, I believe they had 5 cans I got 2. I checked the local Advance Auto Parts since it's right outside my neighborhood they didn't have it. I was glad to see Autozone did though.

Geez are you guys sniffing this stuff or something? What is the deal :nixweiss

I have 2 cans sitting in my cabinet and frankly they will likely stay there collecting dust. I have used it several times, gave it a chance and pushed it to the back of the cabinet. To me it conjures up pictures of 50s greasers who just slap grease on their hair rather than wash it ;)

I really wish I could find something like Meguiars Enginekote, that stuff was da bomb!
