BMW M Coupe ( clown shoe looking thing) Detail

Hey guys, I've been a total lurker for almost 10 months. I spent the summer absorbing these forums and reading many sources about detailing.



Over the labor day weekend (I know, I know... this is horribly overdue) I took some time off and did my first real deal detail. It was so much fun to apply a summers worth of reading. I was super hesitant to apply these techniques to my baby, but you never know until you try! Big thanks to those who contribute their knowledge to these forums. I hope to return the favor while I perfect my craft.

i think i might try the sonus pads when i need to replace my CMA's.



seeing the car in the air makes me want spring time here real fast. i work at a dealer and am going to detail my car while it is in the air too, wheel wells and under body, :xyxthumbs

Despite what the non-Autopian general public opinion may be, I think the M Coupe is a very cool little car. You should be commended for driving a car with character rather than some weenie beige SUV!
 
yeah i guess it looks like clown shoes.....one very very fast clown shoe! i think 0-60 mpg was in the 4 second range....:cool:

man, that is one clown shoe i wouldn't mind having. :D

Your write up was thorough and very informative but the final results are amazing! That is about as good as I've ever seen black paint look! :bow

and you said this was your first real detail? damn.. thats nice! lol... i've always loved M-coupe's... there might be a day soon enough i can afford one! :D (i wonder if bmw will do one for the Z4 too??? - i'll have to get onto Bangle!)
