Black S500

...Dreaming on an E92....
It's so nice working at home for a change, nice and leisurely

Did my neighbors 500 today, wasn't in the worst possible shape but needed some work. Dirty as heck, some medium swirling and light water spots, light contamination. The car was in an accident about 8 months ago and he had a friend repaint it, I noticed after washing it that you can totally see tape lines in some spots. But I guess they're only really noticeable if you're looking for them. Came out pretty good, and I had a chance to try out a new product, Golden Gate North Cherry Wet Wax (local dist. house brand). Very easy to apply and a little goes quite a ways. Easiest freakin' liquid carnauba to take off IMO. Left a very slick surface and the shine was just right IMO (Topped over Megs Machine Glaze). I liked the results :)

(That's NOT Wax in the body line just so you know. He had the grey quarter panels repainted to match the car and that's paint peeling off the rubber in there)

The poor baby has been taken through swirl-o-matics or something, its marred pretty badly now  :(

I hate seeing my work get destroyed like that

I'm going to talk to him about it and see if he wants it re-polished :bigups

Great Job as usual Dolan.
Looks like im going to have to make a stop at GGN tomorrow on my way home. Pick up some of that wax.
