Black 2001 Corvette... Swirled Badly!

She looked good when I arrived...

So what was your process?

I work on a lot of Corvette's and know how hard the clear coat is. Makes it hard to remove defects.

I found the exact opposite!



The paint was incredibly soft... I don't know how to describe it, but it just felt soft when polishing and such... And marred incredibly easily with my MF towels and the Burgundy Pad.



Re-Polishing it with a Yellow Meguiars Polishing pad worked very well, and turned out great.



Still didn't get ALL of them out, however... If I wanted to spend another 3 hours on it I could have, but I just didn't have time :sosad
 
what products did you use and did you use pc or pc and rotary. i am doing my buddy's 2000 black vette this weekend and could use some pointers.
