Autopian pets? Let's see 'em!

Here is a picture of Sasha, our newest addition. She is a 4 month old black lab. Her current favorites are eating shoes, chasing the cats and sleeping as much as possible.

Here's my dog, Cooper. He is 6 months old ;)

I adopted my little girl Madison in December of '05. She is the BEST! The adoption process was a PITA, but I'd do it all over again, and again. She's a purebred (which is rare to find at a rescue agency) Australian Cattle Dog, she was about 2.5 months old when I got her, and now, she's almost 6 months old. She'll probably get a tad bigger than she is in these recent pics:

Blake918 - She is awesome!

I love how she is calm and content in the passenger seat. That is just like my Schnauzer... he just lays down and goes to sleep :)

Oh and way to go with the rescue. That is how we got both of ours and it has been the best experience ever.

Thanks for the compliments!! Oh yeah she just LOVES the car! She'll hang her head out the window around town, but she's a zombie the second we hit the hwy. The agency I adopted from was tough to adopt from, but that's great because it crosses out the half serious people who think they want to adopt. Like you said, adopting is such a wonderful and rewarding experience...I don't think I'll ever go to a breeder again!

We've had this guy for almost 10 years

We also have a beagle mutt and a couple of cats and a 20g tank with some fish. Pets are cool.

Thought I'd get around to posting my zoo finally.

First up is one of our babies that passed away a few months ago. We woke uo to her not being able to move good, thought she just had a belly ache so we got her into the vet for an emergency visit. Turns out she had a tumor the size of 2 soft balls in her stomach. She seemed so healthy. We had to put her down that day, I've never had to make a harder decision and don't ever want to do it again.

Next is a cat that just passed as well. After we put Belle down the cat got really sick and depressed. We took her into the vet and the vet said she may have been sick allalnog, but Belle kept her going. The cat loved the dog, every time Belle moved the cat followed. It was really sad to watch her look all over the house for the few months that she lived after Belle died.

I have a few more, but they don't come out often enough to snap a picture of. I have a cobalt blue Tarantula and a Dwarf Chilian Tegu.

Here are my two dogs...Bernie and Murphy.

They are brothers from the same litter! Mom was a cocker spaniel/brittany mix, Dad was a black lab!

Bernie is the "spaniel stew", Murph is the "slab o'Lab"
