Am i just lucky, or does ONR EAT brake dust!?

After washing a few cars with ONR (highly recomend you try it if you havent, btw)

I have found that it removes brake dust from wheels better than most wheel cleaners! Any one else experiance the same thing?

The wheels I did were sealed with NXT however, which I find does an excelant job of preventing contaminants from binding to the surface. My fealing is that it will also work great on unsealed wheels, too.

ONR does a very good job of cleaning away brake dust. I think I might have to try spraying it on and then agitation to see what happens.

I just did an ONR wash and it seemed to cleanup the brake dust quite well, I also added a cap of Bug Squash to the solution though... :think:

I'm going to have to try this. I hate how wheel cleaners will eat thru any sealants you put on it. I find that I can just wash soap and my Meg's brush. If ONR works as well as a spray and rinse formula, that is going to be awesome.

I have been using it at 1.5 oz per 32oz spray bottle. I always have this around as a QD . spray it on and use your fav wheel brush. it does a real nice job. I am sure you can get away with using less ONR. I use it on my wheels at the same rate as regular washing but they are sealed . when doing my own I use an old chenille mitt or mf. looks like you now have a new idea to try out :spot I think Scott's pics speak volumes on how well it works :hifive:

Yup it does clean up brake dust. If some dust that is baked on, then that another case.

I use ONR to clean door jam as well(hate the accordian part).

I've found that using 1.5oz regular car wash soap in a 32oz bottle works very well, too.
