Indeed. You can get a Rupes 15 and 21 with pads and polishes for the price of rather inexpensive DSLR lens/

You didn't look very hard. Try upwards of $10k to $15k for one lens for your Canon. The highest price I found when looking was $19k. It is just like the $50k or even the $100k wax. You just have to ask yourself, is it worth it?

36 pound lens and an MSRP of $89k. I guess I didn't look hard enough either.
Edit: I just read the article. One sold for $120k in 2009 it was offered a couple more times it says but doesn't have updates if any were actually sold.

B&H last sold one in 09 for 120k and had one for sale again earlier this year for 180k
