I'm here at college and will be going home for Thanksgiving in about 3 weeks. I will be home for a week and have a few detailing jobs to get done. My uncle did me a huge favor in helping with a research interview so I'm going to do him a favor and detail my aunts car and possibly my cousins car. I want to do an A+ job for him but with the stuff I have, I can't. The 2 cars are somewhat new cars but have never been really DETAILED. They have a garage I can work in if the weather is kinda crappy. I want to clay, clean, polish and top with a good wax or sealer to last the winter. I only have a cheap walmart orbital buffer and the regular off the counter products. Im very tempted in buying a PC 7424 with all the different pads and Poorboys products. Here's the thing, I'm gonna be going into my savings to pay for the stuff so I want to get the best deal possible. Autopia has a kit that comes with the PC 7424, backing plate, cutting pad, 4 foam pads, buffing bonnet and a detailing guide CD all for $179.95. I'm very tempted to go ahead and buy that unless Dwayne can offer me a similar deal with everything I need. I really want to stay around $200 but way under $250 for the PC, pads and Poorboys products. Can anyone give me some ideas or make up a kit for me? Please help

sounds like you're on the right track to me. If the cars are fairly new and to keep your costs at where you want go with SSR1 and EX-P or PWC and EX..

I'm not trying to be sarchastic, so don't take this wrong.

Why don't you go out to www.premiumautocare.com, look at the phone number and give Dwayne a call? Let him know your budget, describe the cars you plan to detail (i.e. - how old, what color, scratches/swirls, etc...) and he'll take it from there. Don't be afraid to talk to him. Dwyane is a great guy and very helpful!

A few more tips on how to save $$:
1) Orders over $125 get free shipping
2) use your 'detailcity' code for 10% off.
3) Look at the car care kits. You typically save 10-30% if purchased seperately.
4) Let folks know that you want $$ for Christmas to help you finance your new hobby!

$$ for Christmas is out of the question. All money I get for Christmas is going towards my trip to Las Vegas with my gf in January and money so I can survive my last 4 months in college before I graduate...AKA...DRINK HEAVILY!! haha I'm gonna figure something out this week so I can have the supplies by thanksgiving. Thanks for the help

TALK TO DWAYNE!

You need a couple different pads, backing plate, the PC, and some more products. I highly recommend the Detail City Combo...Klasse AIO and UPP.

Meguiars DACP is a great investment, also.

Talk to Dwayne...he'll help you however he can.
