OK, Merlin, a Captain Obvious question about the CQUARTZ Reserve Coating:
Does this coating "cure" enough in the high-UV Florida summer sun that it does not require UV lamps? Just curious.....

Your liking of CarPro's Darkside tire gel/shine is making me wonder why and what is unique and special about this tire gel. I say that because over the many years you have been detailing you have seen and used a number of different tire gels/shines and this particular one seems to be standout or "different" enough to make the statements about it that you have used it on recently detailed vehicle.

Yes, when I use CQUARTZ Finest Reserve, I always employ short-wave infrared lights to bake the coating at 140°F for 20 minutes on each CQFR-coated panel.

Tire gel/shine: I like two different tire dressing products. Carpro Darkside and OBSSSSD Matte Tire Dressing. Each one has a different "look".
Darkside is slightly shiny. I like it because it has a nice shine without looking like a glazed donut. (I hate the glazed donut tire look.)
OBSSSSD Matte Tire Dressing is a nice, dark flat black tire dressing. OBSSSSD Matte Tire Dressing is an elegant look with no shine at all.
My choice depends on the car make and model, and the mood I'm in at the time. Both are good choices.
