Danforz said:The BF SRC was probably the most distinguished part of this detail. If only you could see how well it reflected when sun was directly shinning on it. Careful though, this stuff eats right through conventional clear coats!

If you are looking for that extra boom then I would honestly learn the rotary and step up to SIP also. This is where I get the full depth and clarity out of paints. With the rotary I can tweak Menzerna to it's max peak level. With a pc you are honestly very limited to how far you can bump the finish. I have done both methods side by side and the rotary side is night and day difference. If you ever buy a rotary, I will give you some lessons:grinno:
Also, I use CS after Z5 and to my eyes, it really makes a big difference after 6 hours after it bonds with Z5. Then I top with Z8 after for eye popping thick gloss.:shocked
Your car looks excellent though and I love that color!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on a 328 that color to detail. :grinno:

I was careful when first using it, i guess the fact that it's for "scratch resistant clear" made me a little nervous. But now i think it's just a great fp to use on any clear. It cleans up the menz ip rather nicely.
Have you tried the blackfire sealant yet? Stuff is awesome and super easy to buff off.

I will try adding CS, though I believe I'll switch to a wax after that. If I do 2 layers of Z5, how long before I can add CS? Also, how much longer do I have to wait before the Z8 wears off my car (so I can put a more durable, long lasting z5 over it)?
Danforz said:You should be careful, I ate RIGHT THROUGH my aunt's clear with an orange pad on her rear bumper with the stuff. I have not used their sealant. If I didn't have Zaino laying around, I'd be very open to it.
rydawg said:Are you sure you did it and it was not there? Using a PC should not burn through using SIP or 106. I know the orange pad is stiff, and if anything would have eaten through, it would have been the orange pad. Just use a polish pad on soft paint.

It's just personal preference but I prefer the look from the NB in the first detail.
