2006 Corvette Detail

nice ride & beautiful work... tho I would've re-thought the license plate. After all the subtle, sophisticated details & cleaning up of the car- only state the obvious on the plate. It deserves a better, more clever calling card to announce its presence.

Scott - I didn't mind the GM badges really. I actually thought they looked neat. :cooleek:

Sean - The clear wasn't nearly as terrible as the past corvettes I have done. This one seemed just a touch harder than normal GM

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Greg

If it wasn't because I need a backseat, I would be all up on that. I dunno. Maybe when I'm 40...

Either way, Greg, you did a terrific job... Did you detail the calipers aswell? They look really clean and I'm sure you didn't use a strong wheel cleaner so how are the calipers sooo clean.

Great Job!

Joy - I didn't wash the car. It was clean when I arrived. The owner, Jeremy, is VERY meticulous and and has a tremendous eye for detail. I just wiped down the calipers and wheels with Z6 prior to polishing and sealing.

Awesome!

Appears to be slightly lowered, with the wheels, tint, red painted calipers, body colored Z06 spoiler and door handles, Vararam CAI, and also appears to have a B&B exhaust as I do. Tasteful indeed and the detail looks great. Good job.

Yep, it's lowered about 1" with WCC lowering bolts. All the mods you listed are correct, I also have a GM frame, stainless rear Corvette insert letters, Pipedreams etched chrome engine caps, Pipedreams etched alternator/fuse box covers, battery cover, embroidered hoodliner and a few color matched engine parts.

Wow. When an owner chimes in to say 'good job' it doesn't get much better than that!

You're a lucky man to have found someone as talented as Greg to detail your beautiful Vette.

Detailers with Greg's skill level are hard to find.
